Once the system is programmed, everything will operate automatically.
When a scheduled watering cycle begins, the controller sends an electrical signal to open a valve for a specific zone. Water flows through the underground pipes to the sprinkler heads in that zone. As pressure builds, the sprinkler heads rise above ground and distribute water in a preset pattern.
After the programmed run time ends, the valve closes, the sprinkler heads retract, and the system moves on to the next zone. This process continues until all scheduled zones have been watered.
Because each zone is controlled separately, irrigation can be tailored for turf areas, gardens, shrubs, and shaded spaces, helping reduce water waste while maintaining healthy plant growth.
