You may be required to have your Backflow tested annually. If so, we have a Virginia State certified and licensed Backflow Technician on staff to handle all aspects of annual inspections.

Pressure Vacuum Breaker (PVB) – ASSE 1020; this assembly must be able to be located outside, one (1) foot above the highest sprinkler head

When the parameters for a PVB cannot be met, a Reduced Pressure-Principle (RP) - ASSE 1013 shall be installed

An RPZ device on lines that are connected with chemicals. (Preferred)

A PVB device on wet systems must be 1’ (foot) above highest head. (This is key)
